stone temple pilots - interstate love song

it has become a matter of principle, right buddy? has it not? interstate love song, stone temple pilots, you don't even have a sound system to listen to it now, but you won't stop at that, you have to try to capture the magic of that music, without even a basic knowledge of musical notes

so you played the saxomophone for a year when you were twelve years old and know how to read sheet music, doesn't help you now, you still don't know how to explain interstate love song musically........

so good luck....  this song starts with a few very humble chords, that is part of their charm and appeal... these chords go on for a few seconds, it's a normal rock ensemble so drums, rhythm guitar and lead guitar and bass or maybe just one normal guitar plus bass you don't even know... the drums kick in after a few chords.... the drumming is nothing special -- no double bass peddle like in pantera.......... quickly the music becomes very bombastic.... the drums describing the typical rock bombastic promise which most likely leads to nothing but alcholism and cigarrette smoking and some slutty sex....

anyway, it's a very heady mix and you won't really appreciate it all unless you listen to this song which is among the better rock songs....
