SHE is a much more pleasing read than the unpleasant realities of 'gulag archipelago'... what savages those russian kgb types were! worse than the spanish inquisition (which by the way, sought to torture sephardic jews in spain)

SHE's reception amongst audiences of england speaks well of the english as does the writer's englishness..... tolkien, by the way, while a wonderful creator, was a german.... most english probably are too, but tolkien had very close ties to germany
