piggy home again

wow - 3 days away - what a great time:

tried surfing (again) - still cannot stand up -- no good at standing/balance sports like surfing/skateboarding - caught a good wave on boogie board though

fishing -- caught a tiny little bream or brim or whatever they're called -- ate some other's peoples' catch - some little flathead

who knew this place even existed: hawk's nest -- it's just a little north of newcastle... there's actually a ferry from nelson's bay..... the drive around is long though .........

saw a pod of dolphins and just a second before them, a fighter jet, very high above, screaming towards the horizon - almost thought it was a ufo except it made so much noise -- it was really high up though

went bicycling with piggy woman and she wanted to watch the oscars -- they looked so lousy -- thought it would be good to make a little pop quiz (see below)..... also met some cool western sydney people at resort teapot (code talk for jackoozie) including two tibetans....

nascar is on tv now -- this is the first time i have found the sport interesting -- my father was always a big admirer of formula one motor racing which has always been generally a non american kind of sport -- it's the fastest motor racing by far..... after having driven so much (a quarter of benji's year is spent driving, approx.).... these nascar shots are striking as the pack seems to move more as one body than individuals racing to win or finish first like in formula one.... on this note... recently we read that marines (see photograph of gay marine doing homecoming kiss) study animal behaviors in order to better understand warfare.... recently, while snorkelling at balmoral, we noticed that the baby bream - like 2 inches long - act and swim as a body -- kind of like nascar.... if you see a school of 500 or more of them, and poke at them, one or two spores of fishes will break away from the main school body -- very interesting behavior.... lately have been wondering about the nature of the Creation and its lifeforms.... for example, you see some ants crawling around but you wonder: why aren't there more of them? the biggest mindblower on this line however, is, how there were so few humans before and now there are so many.... nascar is also interesting as the cars are racing on a slanted track -- God knows how they can overtake on such a narrow expanse.... it is not at all like formula one with its hairpin turns and broad acceleration....

interesting - nascar drivers also have pitstops - hey that reminds benji of some toy as a kid -- some race car track -- it was pretty good
