amazing stupidity of tv sitcoms

flicking through the channels, it's amazing to see just how stupid the american sitcoms (and probably most other sitcoms) are from 1990 onwards... mankind seems to have entered a profound backward stage during this period....

even the 'waltons' - made in the 60s about 1930s family, is better viewing.... how is it that the quality of 'award winning shows' is so poor? how is it a vat of rats in china, crapping on a movie camera could make better tv than these modern day humans?

it's a sad reality and a definite indication of going backwards in these 1990-2020 years.... maybe a major war with china can help us go forward
