hey so another friday nite shift finished and done with -- it would have been my sister raquel's 43rd birthday but she killed herself in 1999 so whatever...... also around that time, an ongoing friendship with a buddy aforementioned, christine.... half dutch half american ossie aussie girl kind of wrapped up --- had lost touch with her all these years and tonite dropped off a customer to house next door to where she lived --- unfortunately, from what he says, she's turned into an opiate (heroine) junky and a whore (literally)..... back in 1999 her brother was already a junkie but there was no way to see she would turn out like that -- she was  very bright, studied violin as a kid, good well-to-do well educated middle class parents.... the mother apparently has returned to her native holland, back in 1999 the father had already remarried another american........ will try writing to the mother in holland to see if a re-acquaintanceship is possible

well we mentioned restrepo outpost in afghanistan recently and tonite had some military guys from okanawa and one said he'd flown in and out briefly to restrepo -- not stationed there -  while on a tour in afghanistan -- they were good guys and said they were leaving town saturday --- would have been a good idea to offer them a free ride to airport........ they were amused by benji's newly coined expression: 'the fatties in da pentagon' (referring to obesity)
