this movie is a complete joke -- benji has made better movies with a tub of yoghurt, a cell phone camera and a venus fly-trap............
sadly, americans will go to any length to make all-american movies even if the result is ridiculous -- this is just one more example of that: 'the day the earth stood still'.... you could probably make better movies just by tossing some cell phone cameras, an editing suite and some bikini models to the iranian government
in fairness, keanu cannot take all of the blame for this, the writers especially should be considered mentally deficient and lacking some critical chromosome or plexus of neurons... this is fair to say about the producers, actors, etc..........
garbage like this should not even be allowed to be on tv... this is not exercising 'free speech' -- this movie is cruel and unusual punishment --- pure garbage........
if u actually take the time to look at this recent speech calling for the destruction of israel by iranian leader akmadinnerjihad, and you replace the word 'israel' and 'zionist regime' with 'keanu reeves movies' and 'that movie -the day the earth stood still-', this speech by the iranian royal family actually makes perfect sense
by switching 'israel' and 'zionist regime' with the terms 'keanu reeves movies' and 'that crappy movie -the day the earth stood still', the following speech by iran's shortsighted ruling royal family is airtight
