macy gray on fox news

who can forget that macy gray song, the one linked below, whatever it's called........ such a great song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYIW6MTigGQ

for benji, it brings back memories of the year 1999/2000....... about 10 months of late 1999 and early 2000 were spent as a complete hermit/shut-in........ living just with my father....... my mother had gone to spend a year in spain and my young adult life in the big smoke had unravelled, my university 'excluded' me........ my woman went off to live in ireland for a year....... my pot buddies and parties and school buddies were a thing of the past........ the thing to do was just drive a cab and bang some beaver and buy some wheels and stack up some money...... but instead, benji just went into boo radley mode living with pops...... we both went out together on xmas day 1999 to drive a taxi shift, taking public xport, and maybe benji did 1 or 2 other shifts and had some other crappy job for a while, but in general, it was stay home every day and sink into a kind of lazy, stuporous depression..... even tried on a plastic bag hat for a day or two, that's how low it got..... my father was dead set against me smoking pot or getting drunk and transitioning from smoking massive amounts of weed took a toll on my psyche which registered as some kind of general craziness and kookiness which eventually dissipated during the hermit days........ one day, using only a very tiny moderate amount of marijuana, incredibly small, was able to enjoy a samuel l. jackson movie wherein he was a teacher in LA in some tough neighborhood, during these days........

of course the thing to do at this point of my life was to just drive a cab, stack up wealth and migrate to california/usa indefinitely...... however, i still felt roots in spain and intended to go back there which i did

the girl across the road was a real beauty and an australian aborigine -- maybe part white too....... 1/4 or more........ she was always listening to that macy gray song...... i went over to visit her once or twice or more however it never seemed like she wanted to have great sex or any kind of sex with me, maybe i should have tried harder in that regard with her....... oh well.......

well recently, b-grade movies for $1 at pirate dvd shop is the benji way of enjoying movies....... remember that big tall black guy from the police academy movies? - hightower? you do, right? that's bubba smith, isn't it? maybe he was an athlete or sthmg before that...... well he's in some movie from 1995 called drifting school......... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0163608/plotsummary    this is a thoroughly b-grade styled movie..... interesting though --- alot of these b-grade movies have more appeal than the strictly formulaic, overly serious and failing a-minus type movies
