he doesn't figure out shit because the writers aren't mathematicians, they are just dumbarse LA pothead dummies........ that's why that show is so stupid -- it's like that episode of the simpsons where they go to robotland and marge says: see homer, that's why your robots didn't work........ and points at some coconut shells connected by tinfoil that homer had created -- that was genius -- that's probably the greatest single thing the simpsons have ever or will ever accomplish ever: those 5 seconds right there where marge says: see homer, that's why your robots didn't work
