well bigots and selfish ones who occasionally must exchange bodily fluids in order to keep the species alive,
having seen what a staunch defender of Nietzsche that we are, defending his name against slanderers who revile him for Nazi actions and turn a blind eye to American complicity in the Nazi holocaust (e.g., by looking the other way, failing to evacuate Jews from Europe and providing the Nazis with technology to assist in the wholesale destruction of the jews.... not to mention spending money on spiriting Nazi German rocket-scientists to America after world war ii that could have been spent on re-patriating Jews to somewhere else).........
let's take up that Nietzsche-ian doctrine of the Superman, and his precursor, 'the last man' again........ the notion of evolution is not new to us..... and as Nietzsche noted, the passing of time does not guarantee advancement but could mean devolution, case in point, Nietzche cites the man of his own time (19th century Europe) as being worse than the man of the Renaissance........... although this could have been a sweeping generalization, and although the author feels that Nietzsche could have been wrong on some of his ideas about Jesus -- and perhaps a little too comfortable, and unaware of discomfort and certain challenging situations so as to be a bit of an 'armchair' preacher.... still, Nietzsche most always hits the nail on the head, time after time, his gut-feeling that Francis Bacon secretly authored the Shakespeare plays was correct..........
his predictions of the 20th century were precise and accurate -- a century before they ocurred....... Nietzsche had the foresight and understanding to see what would come...... Nietzsche realized that woman would start wearing trousers and sport university degrees too.....
to my mind, Nietzsche's flowery motifs in Zarathustra -- of snakes and mules and old hermits in the forest are lacking in powerful cgi graphics interface and moving screen-music...... but his ideas are what matter anyway
Nietzsche said that the Truth does not need defending..... that She is so high and beautiful that it is ridiculous to think of a pig trying to pretend to defend her, as humans so often do in their arguments and wars
certainly, knowing a factual Truth (e.g., Francis Bacon wrote the Shakespeare plays) as opposed to believing a fallacy (that the illiterate William Shaxpur, chosen by Bacon to be his cover man for his authorship) - that Francis Bacon did not write the Shakespeare plays ---- really, at the end of the day, does not make much difference........ this is to say, that knowing Facts and misunderstanding Facts and misrepresenting them may not be as important as it seems, here's an example:
person 'a' is lazy and unemployed, refuses to work, but is aware of a great many facts
person 'b' is a very hard worker but misinformed about the facts
who is more practical to society?
obviously person 'a' should be employed by a school of some sort to disseminate the facts --- but when society wholeheartedly laughs and jokes about the facts, shitting on them, as it were......... then person 'a' had better start washing dishes......
person 'b' is a hardworker and life, if about nothing else, is about work.... and practical work of a useful nature to society is of great importance in life
(see, do tv pundits really 'work' or are they glorified wiseacrers?)
Nietzsche referred to the 'whole cowardly nay and yay of modern life'........ Nietzsche considered himself a European (actually he was a Pole genetically)... certainly in Europe and America there has been a great deal of this complacency with luxuries and 'things' and practical living to the point where people have become docile and vague........ despite being a great fan of Nietzsche, we chide him for not having travelled to Africa or elsewhere in search of more challenging circumstances........... still he was right to decry the whole cowardly nay and yay of modern life.......
while we might celebrate Americans somewhat because of strengths built on the multifarious genetic background (most definitely including all genes of the world) -- and can accept that they are brave, to an extent, in the end.... being stupid, their bravery cannot surpass their stupidity
it seems to us that humans are really the ugliest creature on this beautiful planet -- if we observe Nature -- and what marvels she produces: grass - trees - lakes - fish - antelope, etc.... what a pity the human is........... what a pig it is...... like a simple animal, eating and shitting and secreting some fluids here and there in its daily upkeep...... it is fast becoming, as Nietzsche predicted:
that ineradicable parasite that the Superman would consider a laughing-stock, or else a painful embarrassment....
can you imagine a Superman coming from a humanity that instead of having the Muslim world (not to mention Arabs) that we have today, instead had only some kind of homosexual northern European/American race that we see today with its women sporting trousers and University Degrees in 'humanities' ???
We would wonder if Nietzsche would even be read or discovered in today's world with so many mediocre and stupid voices gargling nonsense neverendingly.... if you are not sure what i mean, just take a look at Time magazine, with their overstuffed writers who no doubt need a forklift just to remove them from their quarters like some 5 ton shut-in who has not been able to fit through his bedroom door in a decade............
another example of the laughing-stock, pathetic nature of today's man: social networking -- people are happy to relate over the internet through playing shared games, social networking, but will steadfastly refuse to develop real relationships -- a steadfast refusal to be a real village ......... now it is possible to play social-networking games and at the same time to but a Haitian flag in your social networking game to 'champion' the needs of the Haitians, who, frankly, none of us care about as we feel they are incompetent or failed.........
Nietzsche also said that what is admirable about man is that he is a bridge to the Superman.... certainly in an age of growing scarcity and growing climate disasters -- man will no longer feel inclined to, as Nietzsche put it, 'prop up failures'........ (note that Nietzsche was later linked to the Nazis due to their policies of experimenting on the disabled and euthanasia of the diseased and elderly and such)......... however, the Nazis chose what they wanted for themselves and will abide by their choices....... this does not discredit what Nietzsche said, and this policy of not propping up the weak is seen everyday in society in so many ways........ very often we do not care about panhandlers and think only that they should go and get a job and stop playing the victim..
