watching this Stossel special on lawyers in america... i must say that Stossel is 100% wrong.... or at least, his arguments are not convincing, and his guest's arguments that Germany (socialist health care country) has a better system is likewise wrong....
the perfect argument for why the american legal system is still the best in the world is again found in the skewed pro-anglo system we have in australia... the constant trespasses, the inability to have a career based on merit here (in many, but not all cases) - due to racial considerations (eg., africans are not allowed to appear in movies/tv shows therefore Hollywood, a leftist liberal elite is actually RACIST and right-wing! by extension, as Hollywood draws strongly from the Australian 'talent' (=white anglo) pool....
these constant trespasses would not be possible if we were able to effectively sue like in America, believe me........ the only hope for the world is to go to America and sue there
