American mothers telling their children about the boogeyman

someone once wrote that the damage caused by American mothers inculcating a fear of the boogeyman into their children -- which was probably a compractice amongst mothers of the current 'baby-boomers' -- was one of the worst cultural sleights in the American psyche....

while it can be hard to understand the salivating and pandering and general grovelling and mesmerization the Americans felt towards the British Royalty recently.... we can generally put it down to Americans feeling they are solely evolved from the English due to generations of Americans being ashamed or finding non-English surnames impractical and changing them to English ones......

with the Bin Laden affair, the whole thing becomes such a joke as to be laughable...... the American Media, on behalf of America, and as a protrusion and projection of America.... has been putting Bin Laden on a higher and higher pedestal.... immediately blaming him for the 9/11 attacks....... certainly, after the 9/11 attacks.... pre-emptively or reactionarily taking out some of your enemies is a good idea........ but this doesn't explain the 9/11 attacks and the mainstream American Media (PBS newshour, CNBC, Fox, CNN, ABC, CBS, et al) do not want to know about it.... for fear, basically, of damaging their own individual careers....... the Truth is uncomfortable for them -- better to play the good samaritan like the idiots at CNN with their neverending 'ending slavery' garble/trash and suchlike.......

but also discernible, in the Bin Laden affair, is the cult of personality and the manifestation of that deeply-embedded-in-the-psyche fear: the boogeyman...... Bin Laden allows the Americans to embody the boogeyman, satisfying their subconscious once and for all........ a relatively weak military foe, negligible really, takes on a larger-than-life role, that really should be occupied by the chinese military, in the National American discourse, which, in many cases, the populace takes much less seriously than the TV pundits and producers anyway......

the late night people, who really don't even deserve a mention on this blog, those mindless, stupid dummies, dumber than the mould on the side of a tree.... kick the ball along, like dumb country yokels (see Conan O'Brien), aping and mimicking the idiot mainstream Media.........
