my daihatsu

so when i got back to australia from bulgaria in march 2009... i had been away for most of the 00s and a lot of the 90s too.... i needed a car and i was lucky that my brother, joseph stalin, hooked me up with one of his friends that turned out to be a good buddy for me -- it's a guy called kadir, a kurd from turkey -- he has the kebab shop in my hometown in far western sydney immediately across the road from the train station that was possibly the first and only train station in sydney to premier on canadian national news coz some pacific islander beat up a canadian guy in a wheelchair in the train station's elevator with a metal bar he drew from the canadian's wheelchair....... such is my hometown........ anyway, kadir's kebab shop is a real winner and rakes the money in and is the first chance you'd get to get a nice meal or a coffee once you step out of that train station......... also, that train station sees thousands of people come and go during peak times and most of the day as my hometown in far western sydney has around 200,000 people with surrounding areas........ in fact, when i was a little boy i could walk through large open fields, many acres large, with only an occasional farmhouse, but all of that space from my childhood is now 1/8 acre or 1/16 acre houses............ suburbia everywhere

the afghan kid that sold me my car is occasionally there and one time i was asking him about attitudes in afghanistan towards americans, although one of his parents is tajiki (not afghani) - and note earlier in this blog that i mentioned the relationships/triangulation that can occur amongst xinjiang in north-western china/tajikistan and afghanistan........... and if u read that book: 3 cups of tea -- you even read about chinese companies being used in afghanistan for cheap earthquake proof buildings................ anyway, the kid that sold me his car (i paid him too much for it).... he said they just basically hate americans in afghanistan and want them out of their country --- who cares

seeing kadir is a hoot and a holler -- i just love that guy to pieces......... his family is cool too - i like his wife and kids........ the truth is that he is terribly exploitative as he is all about making money........ one time i even received a canadian friend (from china) and his aussie girlfriend (from victoria state) at kadir's restaurant........... often when i go to kadir's i end up laughing heartily and very deeply -- even if it's only a 5 second laugh -- it often turns out to be a very profound and deep one.........

at kadir's many a moslem will come by, often visiting from auburn, auburn town centre, a mere 2 minute walk from my new apartment which i bought and pay a mortgage on, is, as mentioned, an authentic islamic caliphate right here in sydney.... it's one magnificent kebab shop after another and moslems of all stripes and africans and a few asians getting along in great harmony and peace......... the energy there is great......... back at kadir's, in my hometown, there is a much stronger bastion of anglos although there are all kinds of races there... basically it's too far away from anything and hence terribly boring and isolated....... perhaps like me......... or afghanistan..........

i am just loving seeing afghanistan on this oliver north documentary -- the female soldiers are handing out free washing machines to the locals -- they look like they could use some, as well as solar powered battery cells and de-lousing kits -- but hey, what would i know???
