that k495 horn concerto is well worth your attention buddy -- a daily jog - even just 20 minutes while listening to suchlike would be very therapeutic for your arse
currently we're barely managing one jog a week and not even the 7 mile killer jogs of the non-smoking era.... now it's just a 20-25 minute paseo.....
not being a big fan of medication of any variety lately, the benji has taken up vitamin d supplements occasionally to compensate for lack of sunshine/sunlight due to night-time driving...... a small glass of wine - very small - maybe once a month or such like..... but now being a smoker of cigarrettes (an appetite suppresant and in a new study, smokers in early life are said, if they quit and stay off cigarrettes in mid-life - to be less likely to need joint replacements late in old-life)..... also fish-oil supplemants fairly often..
but now there's a new medication on the market.... it's a neuro-transmitter suppressor that makes a person addicted to nicotine not even notice it...... in fact, i might even be kidding myself by saying that in a sense, i am interested in experimenting with smoking on workdays/weekdays and not smoking on my three-day weekend with this medication --- the medication can have some annoying side-effects -- but in general is barely noticeable -- although right now, at this very second, as i think about it -- i do notice something -- i feel like the left side of my brain - towards the back - in the middle to the left is somehow more dominant..... but i could be wrong about that -- in general -- a little of this drug is barely noticeable and after a day or two (at most) of this - the individual goes back to not being addicted to nicotine - at which point smoking becomes purely academic again - as there is no strong urge for nicotine.......
in conjunction with smoking i have gotten into the habit of buying my cigarrettes individually from stranger and offering them 70cents for it.... in general, i would say they would be more likely to take a dollar for it - but no-one seems to want the 70 cents (1 in 15 or 20 do).... however people are more likely to give away a cigarrette if offered 70 cents for it than if not
turning to sport in china and elsewhere....... in china - you can always find buddies to play group sports with like basketball and volleyball -- badminton is very, very, very big in china and people there generally like to be outdoors in their evenings playing badminton or walking around... volleyball is also popular in china and is a great sport to play
in general, i must say that while not a big fan of medications in general, i have to say that this kind of drug, that can dim the neuro-transmitters relevant to nicotine addiction (nicotine is possibly more highly addictive than heroine) - and make it so easy to quit nicotine -- is amazing! and the potential for future medications is astonishing....... while i think it's sad that people that medications for depression and schizophrenia when the answer would seem to lie in a little old fashioned sexual healing possibly in conjunction with alcohol and marijuana abuse (coupled with divorce if necessary)......... i am definitely not in favor of anti-depressants and anti-schizoid medications however valium is a wonder-drug --- try taking a valium if you never have before - you're guaranteed to feel mellow -- however you would not want to become dependant on ANY drug like these (fish-oil supplement usage long-term is ok)......
but putting that medical advice aside, can you imagine the applications for medications that alter brain-activity? imagine, for example, someone wants to acquire a language quickly - for war or trade or diplomacy or whatever.... apart from an intensive course of 3 months that could lead to great results, this activity might be stimulated by the right medication
