coz that means it's saturday morning in sydney (5am to be precise) and that means my work week is OVER!

that's good becoz instead of just working tue/wed/thur/friday 5pm-430am -- this week i worked monday too...

what a disaster it was -- lady gaga was meant to sign some autographs in the gay part of town (despite sydney people all being gay) --- didn't even get to see her, only empty taxis and no people -- i have NEVER made LESS money doing a taxi shift than lady gaga monday -- that also includes my stints in 1999 driving a taxi in sydney - sux

that's a 55+ hours of driving this week -- with monday being a total disaster.... what a waste -- the woman that convinced me to do it -- from northern china -- everyone is saying chinese are commies and all that but in sydney they are making big bucks and are very business oriented -- and they are everywhere -- thanks god i can speak some chinese now

get home - turn on fox news - staple thing to have in background -- some old people singing classic song -- switch on pre-recorded news emission from spain's tve -- thanks god to see my compatriots --- i really love spain from this distance..... i'll be happy to visit again (and again), and again -- it's good to be with people from your own gene pool...... also, i don't think spain has done so badly, genetically, as they have been a melting pot there for millenia in ways that other countries/lands/nations really just haven't

i bought a hoodie/sweater kind of jackety thing once when i was 20 in madrid... from some gay shop in the gay part of madrid -- i didn't even know the hoodie top sweater was gay but it was sure ostentatious.... i liked it - it was green and black with black strings and a front pocket to keep the hands with zips on them -- maybe it looked gay but i really liked it

after 9/11 when me and my homey drew visited nyc a few weeks later -- i remember wearing it -- there were some afro-american bums there with signs that said: 'tell me off for $1'

listening to the news from spain/spaniards talking is good stuff.... i like hearing my compatriots talk - their accents and such --- i am lucky to understand all of it -- coz when i got to spain when i was 16 i couldn't even speak the language
