doesn't michelle bachmann look like an outstanding candidate?? at this point, i wouldn't give it too much thought and definitely put her at the very top of the list for possible presidential candidates for 2013 (january)...........
she'll probably take a massive amount of scrutiny from pretty smart democrat journalists.... she definitely looks like she'd take the scrutiny better than palin did...... i never saw any of obama's campaigning myself.... being too busy suffering in bulgaria in those days (or maybe the media never showed it, i dont know)...... i remember (not from having watched it much at or at all at the time - as i was busy living la vida loca in spain) during bush's 2000 campaign that when some idiot fat woman stuck her butt in his face on letterman's show during a break, that he used her shirt to clean his glasses.... also, on a flight with cheney, told some journalists that they were going to win the election and that they could 'write it down'....... that's all pretty bold and fresh stuff right there! (especially the glasses!)
it always seems like it would be difficult for candidates to field the questions that can arise.... bachmann seems to do a good job....... she seems very calm and composed and comes across as cold enough to nuke people which is always a good thing for a president!
in foreign policy, there definitely seems to be a strong tendency to 'blame al-qaeda' for everything... the issues going around in the moslem world are pretty complicated and not necessarily co-related in a lot of cases (how's that for rhetoric?!)
