amanda knox case

here's an interesting article about press coverage of amanda knox case in america, italy and england by a reporter published by time magazine (american).....

http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,2095586-2,00.html

nowadays, at the beginning of the blog era, paid journalists are becoming less and less relevant... generally, a lot of them seem like never satisfied lesbian women that wear pants (even the men) that study at a big school called: "lesbo dyke squad institution of fancy letters"

most of them are incapable of acquiring new languages and seem to think in tiny bite-form of information

generally, they follow the same global patterns of relationships that politicians and others do... that of nationalism.... thus with americans, despite the english merely being another dumb tribe of europeans, despite their ridiculous airs, amongst americans, and probably something that feeds into the ridiculous and confused airs of the english: the americans give them special credence simply because they share the same language and americans are historically incompetent at learning other languages (as are the english)

this time story really outlines the chasm between england and america....

in general, the italians come out of this story (not the 'time' story above, but the WHOLE story) looking the way they are: backward, supersticious, passionately unco-ordinated, how they always were: supersticious and catholic....... how that land Italy could have mothered the Romans, and how they could be the precursor to the Italian that followed is hard to understand

i don't know the facts, although probably they are out there, but it's highly unlikely a middle-class american university student on a year in europe schooling there would end up killing someone -- it would be the first time ever

it's hard to believe Knox would have done the crime but unfortunately, while the case is spectacular, like most cases, most people don't care.... a serious journalist (not a silly pants blogger like the benji) covering this case is just doing the usual spreading thin of information butter over the giant chunk of public apathy and disinterest and casual curiosity in this case (the rabble's casual stare)

real american investigative journalists should avail themselves of as much evidence as possible and make a serious investigation
