australia's second last prime minister - john howard - who was voted in in 1996 until 2007 -- a very long term -- was on the radio today -- recently in this blog there was alot of harsh criticism of his public persona... however, alot of people in australia favored his policies and found him very capable.... today, listening to him talk on the radio it seems like the first time he actually didn't seem like a horrible, ravenous bloodthirsty monster, go figure.... anyway, despite never having liked the man's public persona in the slightest, with the possible exception of recent radio listening.... howard's policies probably would seem more agreeable to the writer than the current prime minister who otherwise has a very agreeable public persona, we question whether she 'turns up' the redneck factor as sometimes australians like doing this.... the interval priminister (sic), rudd, who was australia's first female priminister is a classic example of the extreme lengths australians will go to to keep their leadership british (or irish or cornish or whatever)

moving on... random memory, working at tota fina elf headquarters in paris, france... in the 'espace du langue'.... it seemed like someone was blaming me for some missing camera.... possible good fodder for a temper tantrum and defensive attitude.... we recall nice lady there, her reassuring attitude and forward stance on chilling me out -- she certainly understood me.......

was gonna mention some aspects of tonite's taxi shift but almost cannot be bothered, was going so unbelievably slowly and penniless -- that at midnite it almost seemed like a good idea to take some potrait painter woman's invite to take our conversation to a bar but i passed and was able to turn the shift around and keep on making money.... later 3 stranded teenage girls wanted a free ride 12 kilometres away.... r u serious? show me the money.... i drove them like 500 metres and told them to call the cops.... drove off and thought twice.... gave them ride home for $6.50.... big discount --- one of them said her father was a druggie who lost his job and left wife/daughter....... coz of giving them free ride, despite misgivings, ended up getting good fares after that, so it was definitely the right thing to do
...also did some more wednesday nite dyke nite lesbo runs from the 'sly fox' bar


final random point, how can christians not question 'miraculous' things from bible... which they actually should question if they are unsure of them, like miracle healings, etc... but the same christians cannot swallow that 9/11 is poltergeist/crazy supernatural stuff
