everything is in the mind

while we can consider consciousness of the body as part of the mind, and even a psychic bond with a loved one as part of the mind...... and if we believe that the individual Soul is immortal and survives Death easily to go on to a different kind of life -- still, as humans, we are left with are typical 'waking consciousness' -- this 'waking consciousness' if hamstrung by illness, like a mental disorder like severe retardation or brain damage -- will affect the consciousness of the crippled case -- a strong sense of sympathy and sympathetic union with the afflicted person will lead u to conceive their lot, perhaps -- certainly even a lifetime spent in a wheelchair like this is just another day in the life of the Soul, another day another lifetime as they say in Soul-land

really, in a sense, this is all humans have in a sense.... and when you differentiate your past 'waking consciousness' to your present day one (reflect on memory) -- you find that past consciousness is very often not even memorable.... so that some neurosis that afflicted you and made your life a walking hell is no longer even recall-able .... and then we have brain surgery, concussions, travel induced confusion, drug-abuse damage, emotional weights that encumber the will and mind.... we are always struggling to go forward, to live, like the salmon or whichever fish that spend their lives swimming upstream to mate and cease....

when will we kill or lay our life on the line, when will we seek prosperity? when we will chase pleasures? when will we seek austerity? what is the end of it all? sometimes it seems the goal is to build a mammoth sign that reads 'have a nice day'

unfortunately, perhaps, existence cannot easily be avoided, it would appear that the Creation demands life procreation, living, existing, doing... reading, writing and the rest of it.... maybe this is a warning to rest more and work less
