planet of the ape's (sic)
so last nite was friday night -- after finishing shitty telemarketing job at 8pm -- drove on over to satellite suburn where morning telemarketing job is (have 2 these days, one till three pm and the next starts at 4pm)..... the driver's license is gonna be revoked soon for 3 month period -- hence the change in jobs -- also back issues on the benji - possibly from too much driving ---- waiting for it to recuperate
met up with mexican arturo (he has u.s. residency he says).... and his roommates, a mother and little 9 year old daughter -- we all could speak spanish -- then me and arturo saw planet of the apes -- it was quite good -- two of the chimp reminded me alot of my mother and my brother -- i know that sounds odd but you see my mother and brother have been using certain kinds of anti-psychosis medication for years and years now and the themes of the movie really reminded me of them due to how these drugs alter the mind.........
in general i think anti-psychotics and anti-depressants are a tragic by-product of today's society --- you're gonna see me having a roman or greek themed orgy before i get addicted or use those kinds of drugs long term, that's for sure
however i am definitely interested in the theme this movie raises of using drugs to alter the brain, as i mentioned, i have been using a powerful drug over the previous few months to overcome weekly addictions to the highly addictive nicotine (from cigarrettes) -- i am very interested in the power of a drug like this one that can easily help a person not be cognitively aware of the powerful cravings for nicotine.... in fact, although i started smoking around late may after a 15 month break -- yesterday i had my first cigarrette in exactly 1 week -- just before the movie -- followed by another 1 and a half o asi ----- (o asi = or suchlike)......
so i feel i am on top of the smoking thing
talking to arturo in spanish - and about mexico - makes my secret longing i have been having for months now to run away to mexico seem more palpable -- arturo has been schooling me on various aspects of the powerful drug cartels and other aspects of life in mexico ---- wifey continues to press all the wrong buttons......
