moving on... cooking with benji... and how to save ur Soul... it sounds like something a preacher would say -- but i'm not proposing any religion or asking you for any money

what is cooking here? the vague idea was maybe to make a rice -- but to use a lot of chick peas (2 cans full) --- so fried tofu, canned chicked peas, canned corn and a little leftover canned red beans (just to finish them)..... they would go well with a very small amount of rice.... and one of those pre-packaged expensive type sauces that give 'thai' flavor....... something like that

saving ur Soul..... first of all, this is mostly written for people that do not have bombs exploding around them.... however i once knew an african guy in bulgaria that had served in a number of african wars and had the bullet scars to prove it... so really, this is for anyone that has a computer to read on.... as comfort is relative and comes and goes... the assumption is that as you battle daily with your psyche and the world -- with the human condition -- that you can read this on the internet someday....

first of all: 'don't panic'.... if you were anything like i was when i was a kid... you were constantly panicking.... practically the only thing that would shut you up was 'krakatowa erupting' as english comedian john cleese put it, which is to say: 9/11 -- shockingly that is one of the few things that would shut your bitch arse up or a war in iraq if you were all as a-panic as i was as a kid.... why was i a-panic? first of all, my family were too intense -- all their arguments and fights and various relationships and crazy shananigans always left me at various times with one of those new-fangled anxiety-disorder complexes where i would even be subject to anxiety attacks including heart palpitations and blushing (practically if someone sneezed was enough to set me off)

what if ur the opposite? the typical douche-bag pig youth of today? one of my friends (the guy in the bernanke is full of shit video posted to this blog) -- his sister just arrived in angola -- she said the people there crap in a plastic bag and throw it out the window coz they don't have toilets.... or garbage trucks so everyone just throws their trash outside their house --- or water sanitizing plants -- so people drink water with shit and cigarette butts in it and kind of just die.....

sanitation is essential -- if ur in a poor area with inadequate sanitation -- or some western country person (basically considered 'rich' by folks from poorer countries) -- u can consider doing like rebecca and going to angola.......

however very few would spend their entire lifetime serving others -- strangers in strange lands -- a great many of us must repopulate the planet and must therefore dedicate to building up family and societal structures that will cater to safe procreation -- or at least that's what we say we are about

particularly with youth, it seems to me... a great deal of problematic temptation lies... also, in seeking to build a career, young people will deny options open to them like the one rebecca is taking..... these opportunities however, can lead to a great deal of growth

i myself have found that panic attacks will not last long in asian lands.... the Souls there are already so long-lived and mellow, an anxiety attack has no place... however, you may feel like those options are not open to you

another question is saving the Soul, nurturing the bond with the immortal part of you... recently having read that it is a bong oops bong oops bond that must be constantly nurtured... by regular spiritual meditation and introspection.... all that hooplah about ur love for God having to be greater than all other loves... (again meant in a non-religious sense)

well about my job, i found that actually i made a mistake and my license won't be cancelled for another month (for 3 months time).... so i will probably just drive a taxi for another month as my two telemarketing jobs fired me this week anyway..... it was a welcome change..... maybe i will get offered some other job while i drive cab.... or get clearer on if it's something i want to do for another year or two

returning to the psyche and spirituality... can you have a spiritual life with pot? no doubt u can... however wouldn't it be stronger without it? no matter what your drug of choice, wouldn't you build more strength by overcoming it? it takes strength to give up a drug... is it worth it? you may feel like it's not...... perhaps you make alot of money as a stock broker and taking cocaine, which in any case stimulates the same part of your brain as earning money does.... maybe it would be too hard for you to give up coke for a while....... maybe u fix on doing it when you retire at age 50 a multi-millionaire......

after all, you have free-will........ with regard to my previous posting about jesse ventura.... why would you find it odd that 'freak-ocurrences' like 9/11 occur?? you wouldn't when you consider how much 'injustice' we permit in the world... starvation of some and excess wealth of others... and i'm not talking about instituting a russian style of communism which is abhorrent.......

if most of us fail to walk the 'straight and narrow' and fail to nurture a relationship with our spiritual/immortal ego through constant introspection and spiritual meditation -- and we do (fail to do that).... then what will happen? nothing will happen, we will go on living anyway

what is the purpose of this? recently i was at a hare-krishna kitchen talking to some women from india -- one of them joked that 'not all indian women are goddesses, you know' and laughed uproariously to her friends jocular approval...... the joke was lost on me, i never thought all indian women were goddesses and i know india has serious sanitation issues still... even ghandhi knew that and cleanliness is next to Godliness (to an extent though, as constant proximity to bacteria will actually strenghthen resistance in the human immune system - this has been scientifically proven in studies made of children that play in dirt and on the ground as opposed to children kept in sterile indoors)....

i digress, i was trying to tell the woman that human Souls are like an investment for God (the banker) -- if God is a banker, he doesn't want to just give his money away, right? of course God isn't a banker, it's only an analogy.... following the analogy, Human Souls are a sophisticated investment device for God.... Human Souls can manage a Human Body and therefore are sophisticated --- God doesn't just put a Human Soul into a Human Body and then send it to a county fair for 20 millenia to eat cotton candy and then go shopping in paradise for another 100 millenia.... no

God invests Human Souls into Human Bodies expecting a return for His (or Her) investment.... what return does God want? greater Mastery.... just as your boss is pleased when you get a forklift license and then a back-ho license and then a truck license, until eventually you're competent to run the entire operation and understand its scope more, so too, God is pleased when you achieve greater Mastery over human affairs.... does God want you to sit under a tree for 100 years and meditate? the answer is that God gave you Free Will, so you CAN do that, however your destiny, in a future life would be altered by your decision to do that and eventually you would be thrust into a lifetime with circumstances where doing such (the whole sitting under a tree thing) would be impossible or highly undesirable... in fact, much of your destiny in your current lifetime is already predetermined by the sense of Instinct you yourself have developed in previous lifetimes

how do you develop Instinct and Understanding of human affairs and life on Earth through past lives and living in the present? it's part of God's investment plan in you, as sophisticated 'software' in God's scheme of things, you are pre-programmed to 'write-to-disc' -- this means that the major events and important lessons that shape the Wisdom you gather are 'written to disc' and survive Death as part of your spiritual ego's awareness.... let's take an example, say your next door neighbor Z rapes you stupidly, everyday for a few years...... you will undoubtedly suffer greatly and learn some important lessons, in fact, you might not even be able to quantify those lessons, they may be too subtle for you to realize, but you can guarantee that your Soul will get the key lesson idea, without the long-winded palaver like in this posting - and your Soul will know what to do and how to avoid a daily rogering from Z and avoid doing whatever else brought that unfortunate circumstance on

a great many people want a religion and a leader and a guru... none of which will be given here, however, you may say 'candy cane' randomly on a daily basis like in the movie Joy Ride:
